About the ultraRendu Plus
The Sonore ultraRendu Plus is an advanced audiophile microcomputer designed to enhance digital audio streaming by converting your USB DAC into a network DAC. It features a redesigned USB circuit that removes redundant components, an updated clock buffer with significantly lower phase noise, and improved voltage regulation on the USB subsystem. The ultraRendu supports native sampling rates up to 768kHz and DSD formats up to DSD512, playing a wide range of file formats including FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, MP3, AAC, OGG, WMA, DSF, and DFF. It operates with an Ethernet input and USB-Audio output, with all connectors located on the rear for easy cable management. The device runs the proprietary Sonicorbiter OS, is Roon Ready, and supports multiple network protocols such as Roon RAAT, DLNA, Squeezebox, and HQPlayer. It is powered by six high-quality ultra low noise regulators and a fixed frequency ultra low jitter FEMTO oscillator, ensuring minimal noise and jitter for superior sound quality. The ultraRendu is compact, easy to configure, and can be paired with an audiophile-grade linear power supply for optimal performance.
