The Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 is a high-fidelity network streamer and DAC that integrates advanced streaming, local playback, and digital-to-analog conversion in a single desktop unit. It uses dual ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chips in a fully balanced architecture for independent left/right channel decoding and low-noise, high-dynamic-range performance. Supported formats include PCM up to 768 kHz/32-bit and DSD512, along with lossless streaming from services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, and Highresaudio, plus network protocols like UPnP and SMB/WebDAV for local library access. The unit features a 6.0-inch LCD touchscreen running Eversolo's EOS operating system for app-like control of streaming services, library browsing, and system settings. Connectivity includes Ethernet and Wi-Fi networking, Bluetooth 5.0 (with hi-res codecs including LDAC and aptX HD), multiple digital inputs and outputs (coaxial, optical, USB, HDMI audio), and balanced XLR plus unbalanced RCA analog outputs for direct connection to amplifiers or powered speakers. Internal memory (4 GB DDR4 + 32 GB eMMC) and an M.2 NVMe SSD slot support user-installable SSD storage (commonly up to 4 TB) for local music libraries. The chassis is a compact CNC-machined aluminum enclosure designed for low resonance and desktop use.
