The Sonore ultraRendu 2.7 is a purpose-built audiophile microcomputer designed to deliver exceptional sound quality by turning your USB DAC into a network DAC. It features a redesigned USB circuit with lower noise and improved voltage regulation, a high-quality ultra low jitter FEMTO oscillator, and multiple high-quality ultra low noise regulators. The device supports native sampling rates up to 768kHz and DSD formats up to DSD512, compatible with a wide range of audio file formats including FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, MP3, AAC, OGG, WMA, DSF, and DFF. It operates with various network protocols such as Roon RAAT, DLNA, Squeezebox, and HQPlayer, and supports streaming services like TIDAL and Qobuz through Roon or DLNA. The ultraRendu 2.7 runs on the SonicOrbiterOS 2.7 operating system, which enhances native DSD support and adds features like native Qobuz support in MPD. It is compact, with dimensions approximately 1.18" x 4.33" x 4.41" and powered by an external 6-9 VDC power supply. The unit is designed for easy configuration via a web browser without the need for a keyboard or monitor, and it includes a 60-day Roon trial, one-year warranty, and lifetime free technical support.
