The Sonore opticalRendu Deluxe (Hardware V2.0B) is the latest version of the opticalRendu music player/streamer, designed to turn your USB DAC into a network DAC with audiophile-grade fiber Ethernet streaming. It features a new Super Ethernet Chip, improved power regulators, and a revamped board design for enhanced performance. The device uses ultra-low noise regulators and two fixed-frequency, low-jitter FEMTO oscillators to provide a clean, highly revealing sound. It supports native PCM sampling rates up to 768kHz and DSD formats up to DSD512, compatible with many file formats including FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, MP3, and more. The opticalRendu Deluxe offers complete isolation from Ethernet network noise via an SFP cage with an included OM1 SFP optical transceiver. It supports multiple streaming protocols such as Roon RAAT, DLNA (including TIDAL and Qobuz), Squeezebox, and HQPlayer NAA. The device runs Sonicorbiter OS v2.9, minimizing CPU cycles to reduce heat and noise, and requires no keyboard or monitor for operation, controllable via web browser on phones or tablets. Dimensions are approximately 1.18" H x 4.33" W x 4.41" D without rubber feet. Recommended power supply is a Small Green Computer linear power supply (6-9 VDC input).
