Founded in 1981 in Boston by Jason Bloom and Leo Spiegel, Apogee gained acclaim throughout the 1980s and 1990s for its innovative full-range ribbon speakers, such as the iconic 'Full Range' and 'Diva' models, noted for their clarity, neutrality, and dynamic performance. Although the original company ceased operations in 1999, Apogee Acoustics was revived in 2000 by Graeme Keet, who continues to offer restorations and improved versions of classic models, maintaining the brand's reputation among audiophiles worldwide.
