The Revel Performa F-52 is a full-range, three-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed for demanding home entertainment systems. It features five proprietary transducers: three 6.5-inch Organic Ceramic Composite (OCC) cone woofers for refined low frequencies, a 5.25-inch OCC midrange driver housed in its own sub-enclosure for natural tonal balance, and a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter with a custom waveguide for smooth high-frequency response. The drivers incorporate advanced motor structures with neodymium magnets, aluminum flux stabilization rings, and copper rings to reduce distortion and maintain linear voice coil inductance. The cabinet is ported at the rear and acoustically inert, contributing to the speaker's precision and performance. It offers a frequency response of 33Hz to 18kHz (±0.5 dB typical in-room), low-frequency extension down to 23Hz (-10 dB), and a sensitivity of 87.5 dB/2.83V/m. The F-52 includes high-order crossovers at 200Hz and 2.3kHz for smooth octave-to-octave balance and timbral accuracy. It has adjustable low-frequency compensation (Normal, Contour, Boundary) and tweeter level controls for room and preference tuning. The speaker measures 44" H x 9.5" W x 17.5" D, weighs approximately 88 lbs, and is available in cherry, maple, or black ash finishes. It requires a powerful amplifier due to its 6.5Ω nominal impedance and moderate sensitivity. The F-52 is praised for its articulate midrange, detailed highs, and fast, textured bass, making it suitable for both music and home theater applications. It is considered one of Revel's top offerings in the Performa line as of the mid-2010s.
