About the CM9 S2

The CM9 S2 is a three-way vented-box floorstanding speaker designed to deliver powerful, natural, and well-integrated sound capable of filling large listening rooms. It features two 165mm paper/Kevlar cone bass drivers, a 150mm woven Kevlar cone FST midrange driver, and a 25mm Decoupled Double Dome aluminium tweeter loaded with a Nautilus tube for enhanced clarity and reduced distortion. The speaker offers a frequency response of 46Hz to 28kHz ±3dB and a sensitivity of 89dB SPL (2.83V, 1m). Harmonic distortion is kept below 1% from 90Hz to 22kHz, ensuring clean sound. Nominal impedance is 8 ohms with a minimum of 3 ohms, and it is recommended to be paired with amplifiers delivering 30W to 200W into 8 ohms. The cabinet is available in Rosenut, Gloss Black, and Satin White finishes with matching grille colors. Dimensions are approximately 1025mm (height including plinth) x 320mm (width including plinth) x 370mm (depth including plinth), and the speaker weighs 26.6kg.
