The Anthony Gallo Acoustics Nucleus Reference 3.5 is a premium loudspeaker system It features a unique driver array including a CDT3 piezoelectric tweeter with 300° dispersion, dual 4-inch carbon fiber midrange drivers optimized for crossover-less design above 125 Hz, and a custom long-throw 10-inch ceramic-coated aluminum cone woofer with dual voice coils. The speaker is housed in a precision-engineered cast aluminum chassis with two isolated spherical enclosures and a base made of Garolite with a viscoelastic gel layer to decouple the speaker from the floor, enhancing sound clarity. It offers a frequency response of 34 Hz to 20 kHz ±3 dB, nominal impedance of 8 ohms, sensitivity of 88 dB at 1 watt/1 meter, and power handling of 350 watts RMS continuous undistorted. The design emphasizes transparency, neutrality, and an organic soundstage, making it competitive with speakers costing significantly more. Optional accessories include full-height perforated grilles and a dedicated subwoofer amplifier for enhanced bass extension.
