The company, founded by Avery Fisher in 1937 as Fisher Radio Corporation, became synonymous with premium home audio in the golden age of hi-fi. Fisher's reputation was built on innovative engineering and quality sound reproduction. Over the years, the brand changed ownership multiple times and became part of larger electronics groups, shifting focus toward mass-market consumer electronics.
