About the FM-90X
The Fisher FM-90X is a mono FM broadcast band tuner manufactured in the USA from 1957 to 1961. It uses a superheterodyne circuit with an RF stage and an intermediate frequency (IF) of 10.7 MHz. The tuner employs 9 tubes, including a 6922/6DJ8 tube for RF gain, and is designed for AC power supply of 105-125 volts at 50-60 Hz, consuming approximately 55 watts. It features an analogue tuning scale covering the FM band from 88 to 108 MHz with a sensitivity of 0.5 µV. The unit is housed in a wooden bookshelf-style case with dimensions of 13.4 x 6.125 x 8.375 inches (340 x 156 x 213 mm) and weighs about 16 pounds (7.26 kg).
