About the X202

The Fisher X-202 is a stereo master control integrated amplifier manufactured in the United States around 1960–1961. Its all-tube design uses four 7189 output tubes and delivers approximately 50 watts of total undistorted stereo power. The amplifier provides extensive controls and connections, including input selection, mono/stereo mode, bass, treble, balance, center and master volume, speaker switching, phase reversal, tape monitoring, high- and low-frequency filters, and loudness compensation. It supports 4-, 8-, and 16-ohm speaker loads. The tube complement is four 7189s, two 7247s, three 12AX7s, three 12AT7s, and one 5AR4. Dimensions are approximately 15.13 × 4.75 × 12.5 inches (384 × 121 × 318 mm).
