About the Sapphire
The SOTA Sapphire is a belt-drive turntable built around a four-point spring-suspended sub-chassis designed to isolate the record and tonearm from external vibration. The current Sapphire VII uses a phenolic-resin sub-chassis reinforced with aluminum, an individually balanced and internally damped aluminum platter, and a motor-control system with independent fine speed adjustment. It supports 33⅓ and 45 RPM, with 78 RPM available with the Eclipse package. Tonearm is selected separately.
