About the V

The Legacy Audio V is a technologically advanced 4-way loudspeaker system that integrates perfect timing with exceptional design. It is the first system to incorporate the Legacy Wavelet Processor, which functions as a preamp, four-way crossover with time alignment, complete speaker and room resonance correction, and a high-end DAC with apodizing ability. The system features dual 4" long Legacy AMT neodymium tweeters arranged in a post convergent array extending treble response up to 30kHz, open air dual 14" carbon/pulp drivers for detailed midrange and bass, and a combination of a 12" ultra linear bass driver with a 15lb motor plus a 12" aluminum very low frequency radiator driving three 10" mass loaded pneumatic radiators. This design achieves unprecedented excursion at long wavelengths with superior dynamic response and shapes low frequencies into a cardioid pattern to minimize room coloration. The low frequencies are powered by 1,500 watts of ICEpower® amplification internally, while two external amplifier channels of 30 watts or greater are required for the upper range. The cabinet is intricately crafted with optional high gloss, real wood veneer, and aluminum extrusions, featuring gentle illumination within each tower. The system weighs approximately 226 lbs and measures 18.75" wide by 72" high by 19" deep. It is part of Legacy Audio's Handcrafted Master's Series and sets a new benchmark in speaker systems.
