The Aesthetix Atlas Stereo Eclipse is a sophisticated hybrid stereo power amplifier that combines a bipolar output stage, bipolar driver stage, and vacuum tube input gain stage using one 6SN7 tube per channel. It is unique as a zero feedback amplifier, preserving harmonic integrity, air, space, and coherence in sound reproduction. The amplifier offers 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 400 watts per channel into 4 ohms, with a built-in high-pass crossover filter adjustable from 40 Hz to 200 Hz, ideal for use with powered woofers or subwoofers. It features both single-ended and balanced inputs, direct input bypass for ultimate purity, and a fully differential complementary balanced bridge design for open sound. The Eclipse version enhances performance with Super Matched Pair output devices reducing distortion by up to 40dB, distributed node film capacitors at each output device for improved transient response, and critical power supply components isolated from the chassis to reduce mechanical vibration and noise. The chassis is made of specialized all-aluminum with a stainless steel transformer cover to prevent magnetic interference. Additional features include RS232 control, Cardas rhodium-plated binding posts, and a robust power supply with multiple transformers and chokes for clarity and control.
