About the Storm 2018
The Acoustic Signature Storm 2018 is a high-mass belt-drive turntable with a solid aluminium chassis and an 11.5 kg platter incorporating Acoustic Signature’s Silencer technology. It uses a speed-controlled DC motor with an external Digital Motor Control power supply for 33⅓ and 45 rpm operation. The design supports optional expansion to as many as three motor units and three tonearms, depending on the selected configuration. The Storm 2018 belongs to Acoustic Signature’s earlier Storm range and is no longer part of the manufacturer’s current turntable lineup.
