Wright Sound was a boutique American HiFi audio brand founded and operated by George Wright in Washington State. The company was known for crafting high-fidelity vacuum tube amplifiers and phono preamps, such as the WPP100C and AU-30, in small quantities using a hands-on, artisan approach. Recognized for natural, detailed, and impactful sound reproduction, Wright Sound products became highly regarded among audiophiles for their sonic quality and unique design choices. Production ceased after George Wright's passing in 2009, and original documentation for these products is extremely scarce. The brand is not associated with Wright Audio or Wright Soundz, which are unrelated companies in the HiFi and audio parts markets.
