The Wright Sound WPA 3.5 SET are rare monoblock amplifiers designed by George Wright, based on 2A3 single-ended triode tubes. They feature a zero-feedback topology and are constructed with point-to-point wiring without printed circuit boards, emphasizing minimalist and high-quality design. Each monoblock delivers a nominal output power of 3.5 watts, making them suitable for high-efficiency single-driver speakers, especially horn speakers. The amplifiers use vintage USA Black plate RCA 2A3 power tubes, JAN military specification 5Y3 rectifier tubes, and rare Mullard 6SN7 preamp driver tubes. They include multi-impedance speaker outputs (4, 8, and 16 ohms) with 5-way binding posts and gold-plated input jacks. The transformers are high-quality USA-made Sowter units.
