The Wharfedale Diamond 10.5 is a 3-way bass-reflex floorstanding loudspeaker with a distinctive driver lineup including a 165mm (6.5") Kevlar cone woofer, a 50mm (2") dome midrange driver, and a 25mm (1") soft dome tweeter. It features curved cabinet walls for increased rigidity and reduced internal standing waves, along with a composite front baffle with a piano-black finish to reduce vibration and provide a stable mounting platform. The speaker has a nominal impedance of 6 ohms, sensitivity of 86 dB, and a frequency response from 35 Hz to 24 kHz. It supports amplifier power from 20 to 120 watts. The crossover frequencies are at 600 Hz and 3.8 kHz. The speaker measures 850 mm high, 223 mm wide, and 301 mm deep, with a height of 905 mm including the stand. It uses wired connectivity with gold-plated bi-wire terminals and is designed for front floor placement. The design includes a separate plinth for spike accommodation and a rear port for bass reflex. The Diamond 10.5 is noted for its balanced sound, combining a small-diaphragm dome midrange for consistent dispersion with a Kevlar woofer for punchy bass and a soft dome tweeter for smooth highs. It is finished in black and is not suitable for outdoor use.
