The Revel Studio2 is a high-performance three-way floorstanding loudspeaker from the Ultima2 series. It features a ported design with a driver complement of one 1-inch pure beryllium dome tweeter, one 5.25-inch titanium cone midrange, and two 8-inch titanium cone woofers. The tweeter uses an acoustically optimized waveguide for seamless integration with the midrange driver. The midrange and woofers have inverted dome designs for superior piston-like behavior and dynamic response. The crossover frequencies are set at 230 Hz and 2 kHz with high-order acoustic filters. The speaker offers a frequency response of -3 dB from 32 Hz to 45 kHz, with low-frequency extension down to -10 dB at 21 Hz. Sensitivity is 87.7 dB SPL at 2.83 V/1m, and nominal impedance is 6 ohms (minimum 3.7 ohms at 90 Hz). The cabinet is slim and elegant, finished in high-gloss piano black or mahogany, measuring 46.3 inches high, 13.8 inches wide, and 20.5 inches deep, weighing 112 lbs (shipping weight 140 lbs). Acoustic controls include a tweeter level adjustment (-1 to +1 dB) and low-frequency compensation switches for room placement optimization. The bass reflex port fires downward into a pedestal to ensure consistent bass performance regardless of floor surface.
