The GrooveMaster Vintage Direct DP3 by PBN Audio is a refined direct-drive turntable inspired by the classic Denon DP3000 model from 1973. It incorporates a servo-controlled AC servo motor that operates at 99.9% accurate speed, ensuring precise playback at 33.33 and 45 rpm. The turntable features a 300mm aluminum die-cast platter weighing 1.1kg, with speed deviation less than 0.1% and wow and flutter under 0.03% WRMS, delivering stable and accurate rotation. It includes a Jelco SA750 (B) tonearm and is nearly plug-and-play, requiring only minor setup. The plinth is crafted from form-aged solid hardwood with a three-layer construction for resonance-free stability and is available in various woods such as cherry, maple, walnut, and oak with deep liquid finishes. The design blends vintage parts rebuilt from the ground up with modern electronics, including advanced electrolytic capacitors and steel spiked feet to eliminate vibration. The turntable offers a signal-to-noise ratio above 75dB and consumes 14W of power. It is built to provide decades of trouble-free service and can be customized with different tonearms or a second arm for stereo or mono setups.
