The Joule Electra LA-300ME Marianne Electra Memorial Line Stage is a flagship all-tube line-stage preamplifier derived from the LA-150, created in memory of co-founder Marianne Electra Barber. A line-stage-only design (no phono section), it uses four Sylvania 6350 tubes for the gain/Mu-follower stage plus two 6EM7 regulator tubes for dual-mono, tube-regulated B+ supplies. It retains Joule Electra's Mu-follower topology, refined for harmonic integrity and transparency, and adds exotic V-Cap and Mundorf capacitors, custom Elrod signal wiring, and Bocchino jacks. Features include dual-mono construction, four line-level inputs with a tape loop, dual outputs, selectable output impedance, mute relays, and remote control. Known for a natural, musically engaging presentation with strong instrument separation and balanced tonality.
