The Statement Mk II Line Stage is a two-chassis, dual-mono tube line preamplifier. Its signal path uses transformer-coupled volume controls and input/output transformers with one 101D directly heated triode per channel; the design is hard-wired and has no capacitors in the signal path. It provides selectable balanced or unbalanced inputs, RCA and balanced outputs, and an AC ground-lift switch. Coincident introduced the Mk II revision in September 2018. The manufacturer’s current preamplifier page describes the later Mk III, so the Mk II should not be confused with that version.
