The B&K AVR-307 is a high-end 7.1-channel home theater receiver designed and built in the USA, known for its audiophile-grade sound quality and robust power output. Each of its seven channels delivers 150 watts into 8 ohms and 185 watts into 4 ohms, using Class A pre-driver circuitry combined with a Class AB MOSFET output stage. It is THX Ultra certified, supporting Dolby Digital 5.1 and EX, Dolby Pro Logic, DTS 5.1, and 7.1 surround formats, though it does not support Dolby Pro Logic II or DTS ES Matrix/Discrete. The receiver features 7 analog A/V inputs and 5 outputs with stereo audio, composite video, and S-Video, plus 2 component video inputs and 1 output. It also includes 6 coaxial and 5 optical digital inputs, with one output of each type. The AVR-307 uses Motorola's DigitalDNA technology with a 56362 DSP chip for 96 kHz, 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion.
