About Vendetta Research
Vendetta Research is a boutique high-end audio brand founded by renowned circuit designer John Curl in the 1980s. The brand is best known for the legendary SCP-2 and SCP-2A phono preamplifiers, which have achieved near-mythic status among audiophiles for their low-noise, fully discrete FET design and exceptional sound quality. Manufactured in extremely limited numbers, these preamps are hand-assembled with carefully selected components and were priced at the very high end of the market. Although not currently active or producing new products, Vendetta Research's phono stages are still highly sought after and command premium prices on the used market.
