Systemdek is a Scottish hi-fi audio brand renowned for its innovative turntable designs, originally established by Peter Dunlop and later relaunched by his sons Derek and Ramsay Dunlop. The brand is best known for its three-point suspended sub-chassis designs like the iconic Systemdek IIX, which gained a reputation for high performance at accessible prices and is considered a classic rival to models like the Linn Sondek LP12. Systemdek's modern offerings, such as the 3D Precision and 3D Reference Mk II, feature sophisticated engineering including magnetic thrust bearings, Delrin platters, and mass-loaded suspended chassis, blending traditional design with contemporary materials and mechanical advancements.
