Schroeder tonearms are handmade one at a time by Frank Schröder, a Berlin, Germany-based trained watchmaker who has built tonearms for over thirty years. He holds US and European patents on a string-and-magnet bearing design used across the range, including the Reference and CB models. Because each arm is made by hand, waiting lists of up to a year are common among dealers.
