Grado Labs is a family-owned American audio company founded in 1953 by Joseph Grado in Brooklyn, New York. Renowned for inventing the moving coil stereo phono cartridge and developing one of the first true high-end dynamic headphones, Grado has maintained a reputation for handcrafting high-fidelity headphones and phono cartridges. Operated by three generations of the Grado family, the company is known for its commitment to analog sound quality, artisanal manufacturing, and innovation, remaining a favorite among audiophiles for over seven decades. Nearly all Grado products are manufactured in their Brooklyn headquarters.
