About the FSR-15

The Velodyne FSR-15 is a high-performance powered subwoofer designed for home theater and music applications. It features a 15-inch forward-firing woofer with a 3-inch voice coil and a 210 oz. magnet. The subwoofer uses an accelerometer-based servo control system to ensure extreme accuracy in bass reproduction, minimizing distortion and improving transient response. It includes a built-in 250 watt RMS Class AB amplifier capable of delivering 750 watts peak power. The frequency response ranges from 18Hz to 120Hz ±3dB, providing deep and tight bass. The unit offers adjustable low-pass crossover (40 to 120Hz), selectable high-pass crossover outputs (80 or 100Hz), variable volume control, and selectable phase control (0° or 180°). Inputs and outputs include line-level RCA and speaker-level with 5-way binding posts. Additional features include signal sensing auto on/off (defeatable) and multiple staggered low-pass crossovers with steep roll-off for precise filtering. The cabinet dimensions are approximately 20" H x 21.75" W x 17.5" D, and it weighs about 98 lbs (45 kg).
