About the TD 20A-SE
This model features a solid-state electronics design, offering a 4-track, 2-channel stereo/monaural system. It includes three heads (erase, record, and playback) and supports tape speeds of 3 3/4, 7 1/2, and 15 ips. The TD 20A-SE is equipped with a brushless synchronous motor for the capstan and uses a belt drive with a heavy flywheel to minimize vibrations. It supports reel sizes up to 10.5 inches and includes features like peak-reading equalized meters and switchable microphone attenuators.
