The Roku Ultra (2024), model 4850R (with closely related regional model 4850X), is a compact 4K HDR streaming player released in September 2024. It features Roku’s new quad-core streaming processor, advertised as more than 30% faster than other Roku players, Wi-Fi 6, 10/100 Ethernet, HDMI 2.1b connectivity with Quick Media Switching (QMS), USB media playback, and support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Digital Surround passthrough. It includes the second-generation Roku Voice Remote Pro with backlit buttons, hands-free voice control, rechargeable USB-C battery, private listening over Bluetooth, programmable shortcuts, and a remote-finder function. Roku documentation and current product listings indicate that the 2024 Ultra remains a supported, currently manufactured product; no reliable evidence indicates that it has been discontinued.
