About the DiaLogue Four

The PrimaLuna DiaLogue Four is a premium stereo tube power amplifier designed with hand-made construction and point-to-point wiring using high-quality components. It delivers 42 watts per channel in ultralinear mode and 21 watts per channel in triode mode, switchable on the fly via remote control without powering down. The amplifier features a feedbackless design, low noise driver circuitry, and premium parts including toroidal power transformers and custom encapsulated output transformers for low hum and wide bandwidth. It uses 4 EL34 power tubes, 2 12AX7, and 2 12AU7 tubes. The chassis is fully vented steel with a five-coat hand-rubbed finish. Additional features include a SoftStart circuit to extend tube life, gold-plated WBT style speaker terminals, and gold-plated input jacks. The amplifier starts in ultralinear mode by default, indicated by a two-color LED (red for ultralinear, green for triode). It has an input sensitivity of 880mV, input impedance of 100k ohms, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 89 dB unweighted. The DiaLogue Four weighs 63.8 lbs and measures 15.9" x 15.2" x 8.3" (WxDxH).
