About the ProLogue Four

The ProLogue Four is part of PrimaLuna's line of high-quality, affordable tube amplifiers. It shares its basic topology with the ProLogue One integrated amplifier but includes improvements in driver and phase splitter circuitry, eliminating the need for negative feedback. This results in a more natural sound and better musicality. The amplifier is equipped with a soft-start circuit to extend component and tube life, and a tube plate fuse for protecting the output stage. It uses Adaptive AutoBias, a technology that monitors and adjusts tube bias automatically, reducing distortion and extending tube life. The ProLogue Four supports both 4 and 8 Ohm speaker taps and has a frequency response of 20Hz-85kHz. It is built with premium parts, including a toroidal power transformer and custom-designed output transformers, ensuring low hum and wide bandwidth.
