About the Prodigy1

The PMC Prodigy1 is a two-way stand-mount Advanced Transmission Line loudspeaker designed for exceptional clarity and bass performance in a compact form. Closely related to PMC's compact nearfield studio monitors, it resolves fine details with a sweet, open top end, natural midrange, vivid vocals, and a wide, focused soundstage. Despite its small size, it incorporates a full-size ATL with Laminair technology for deep, fast, hard-hitting bass. The cabinet features simplified flat-sided construction, available in Silk Black finish, with optional grilles. It matches well with modest to high-end amplification and performs optimally on high-mass stands. Impedance is benign with no dips below 5 Ohms. Launched in 2023 as PMC's most affordable range, positioned below the Twenty5 series.
