The PMC fact.12 Signature represents the pinnacle of PMC's fact-series consumer loudspeakers, engineered to bring the scale, neutrality and transparency of the brand's professional monitors into a refined domestic floorstander. It is a three-way Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) design using dual 140mm super-long-throw bass drivers with coated aluminium cones, a dedicated hand-built 50mm soft-dome midrange, and a 19mm SONOMEX soft-dome tweeter, all ferrofluid cooled, to deliver wide bandwidth from 26Hz to 30kHz with high resolution and low distortion. Drawing on key crossover components and driver technologies from PMC's flagship Fenestria, the fact.12 Signature employs upgraded crossovers on military-grade PCBs and carefully laid-out, hand-selected parts to lower the perceived noise floor and increase musical transparency and coherence. Extensive ATL loading gives unusually deep, controlled bass from the slim cabinet while preserving an open, ultra-clear midband, allowing vocals and instruments to appear in a precisely focused, three-dimensional soundstage that scales effortlessly with program material and room size. Audiophile-grade rear-panel switches allow subtle tailoring of bass and treble to better integrate the speaker with different room acoustics and system tonal balances, while tri-wire/tri-amp capable silver-coated terminals support advanced system configurations. With its slender 1110mm-high cabinet, 26kg mass and contemporary White Silk or Metallic Graphite finishes, the fact.12 Signature is aimed at discerning listeners with medium-to-large rooms who require reference-level accuracy, dynamic headroom and musical engagement from whisper-quiet listening to physically impactful levels.
