About the BB5 SE

The PMC BB5 SE is the flagship of the SE series, a three-way passive floorstanding loudspeaker derived from the professional BB5-Active studio monitor. It features a massive 15” (380mm) Radial™ low-frequency driver, PMC75 SE 75mm soft dome midrange, and 27mm SONOLEX™ soft dome high-frequency driver with Ferrofluid cooling. PMC's Advanced Transmission Line (ATL™) bass-loading with 4m effective length delivers deep, clean bass from 17Hz, handling the widest dynamic range with ease, from powerful crescendos to subtle acoustic details. Enhanced SE version includes redesigned cabinet with additional bracing for lower resonance, improved midrange clarity, better transient handling, profiled aluminum dispersion flange for the midrange, Nextel™ textured drivers, and luxurious finishes like Rose, Rich Macassar, Grand Walnut, Amarone, Natural Oak, or Jet Black. Custom stands with precision spikes optimize performance. Supports tri-wiring or tri-amping via three pairs of 4mm sockets. A matching BB5-C SE center channel is available.
