The PMC twenty.24 is a two-way floorstanding transmission line loudspeaker designed for accurate, natural sound reproduction. It features a 27mm soft-dome tweeter developed for PMC by SEAS and a 170mm bass/midrange driver that loads into a 3m effective Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) inside the cabinet, venting at the bottom front to achieve extended, controlled bass down to 28Hz. The crossover is set at 1.8kHz, chosen to integrate the 170mm driver with the 27mm tweeter for smooth dispersion and tonal balance. Nominal impedance is 8 ohms, with quoted sensitivity of 90dB/W/m, making the twenty.24 relatively easy to drive with modest amplification. The slim cabinet measures approximately 1028mm high, 184mm wide, and 419mm deep and weighs about 21kg per speaker, and includes full-height magnetically attached grilles. The twenty.24 is available in real-wood Oak, Walnut, and Amarone veneers, plus Diamond Black. It is voiced to deliver authoritative yet articulate bass, wide bandwidth (28Hz to 25kHz), and the neutral, detailed presentation associated with PMC's ATL designs.
