The PMC twenty.24 is a two-way floorstanding speaker designed for accurate and uncolored sound reproduction. It features a 1" (27mm) soft-dome tweeter made by SEAS, with an upper frequency response up to 25kHz, and a PMC-designed 170mm midrange-woofer with a doped paper cone and rubber surround. The woofer fires into a 3-meter long Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) inside the cabinet, which vents at the bottom front to extend bass response down to 28Hz, a notable achievement for a two-way design. The speaker has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and a sensitivity of 90dB/W/m, making it easy to drive with modest amplification. The crossover frequency is set at 1.8kHz to optimize dispersion and tonal balance. The cabinet dimensions are approximately 1028mm high (plus spikes), 184mm wide, and 419mm deep, with a weight of about 21kg. The enclosure is closed and includes detachable grille covers.
