About the EB1i

The PMC EB1i is a 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker developed from PMC's renowned studio reference monitors. It features an Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) design with a 3-meter transmission line that extends bass response down to 19Hz (-6dB). The bass driver is a unique 10-inch piston driver made from carbon fibre and Nomex honeycomb, designed for high power handling and low distortion. The midrange uses a 75mm soft fabric dome vented to a true transmission line, and the high frequencies are handled by a 27mm Solonex soft dome tweeter. The cabinet is extensively braced and damped with bitumastic and specialized foams to reduce resonance and distortion. The EB1i offers a full, rich sound with excellent bass extension and low distortion, suitable for both high-energy and refined listening environments.
