About the Delphi VI 2nd
The Oracle Delphi MK VI 2nd Generation is a flagship belt-driven turntable featuring a suspended subchassis and an AC synchronous motor. It supports 33 1/3 and 45 rpm speeds with electronically controlled speed adjustment. The chassis is milled from solid aluminum billets for rigidity and inertness, supported by three suspension pillars to control unwanted vibrations. It includes a massive platter with a center clamp system and a floating chassis design to minimize resonance and micro vibrations. The turntable comes standard with a clear acrylic plinth, with an optional black granite plinth available. Power supply options include a standard wall-wart and an optional Turbo Power Supply Mk II, which significantly enhances performance by reducing noise and improving stability. The Oracle/SME tonearm is optionally available, featuring a dynamically balanced 9" magnesium-alloy armtube with upgraded Van den Hul MCS150 silver litz internal wiring. The design philosophy focuses on controlling micro vibrations and micro calibration to maximize stylus stability and signal accuracy, resulting in improved musical accuracy, harmonic integrity, transient sharpness, dynamic contrast, tonal balance, and depth of image. The turntable weighs approximately 35 lbs (16 kg) and measures 18.5" W x 14.2" D x 5.9" H (475 x 363 x 150 mm). It carries a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects and is proudly manufactured in Canada.
