About the Super 7XRS Mk2

The Super 7XRS Mk2 is a more compact and visually appealing version of the original Super 7XRS, designed around the proprietary RS7 7" driver by Louis Chochos of Omega. It is a full-range, point source speaker with no crossover, delivering phase and time-accurate sound. The design emphasizes an extended midrange, wide soundstage, and enhanced bass with a downward-angled bass port. It is capable of great bottom end and is friendly to all amplifier types. The speaker features a wide baffle for open midrange and excellent imaging, and a back tilt to project sound into the room while reducing floor reflections. It weighs about 40 lbs each and measures 29"H x 11"W x 8"D. The Super 7XRS Mk2 requires as little as 2 watts of power and has a sensitivity of 94.5 dB at 8 ohms. This model has been discontinued but remains highly regarded for its dynamic and natural sound.
