The Micro Seiki MA 505 MK II is an improved version of the original MA 505 dynamically balanced universal tonearm. Manufactured in Japan from 1976 to 1978, it features a precision spring and tungsten wire system that ensures long life and unchanging accuracy. The tonearm allows linear tracking force adjustment between 0 to 3 grams, unaffected by turntable location or record pressing conditions, providing exceptionally stable tracking especially at low tracking forces. It supports cartridge weights from 4 to 10 grams and includes fine height adjustment for optimal setup. The effective length of the arm is 237mm with an overhang of 15mm, and it has a height adjustment range of 42 to 86mm with a fine adjustment of 6mm.
