The LUMIN A-1 Music Server is a premium audiophile network music player designed for high-resolution audio playback. It supports a wide range of audio formats including PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit and DSD up to 2.8MHz. The device features dual Wolfson WM8741 DAC chips, one per channel, in a fully balanced layout with high-quality components and output connectors coupled with dual LUNDAHL LL7401 output transformers. It offers multiple digital outputs including BNC SPDIF and HDMI supporting PCM and DSD formats. The unit is housed in a precision-machined solid aluminium chassis and powered by an external dual-toroidal linear power supply. The addition of the Kenneth Lau power supply further enhances the sonic performance by providing improved power delivery and noise reduction. The LUMIN A-1 operates with UPnP AV streaming protocol, supports gapless playback, and is controlled via a dedicated iPad app. It supports popular streaming services such as TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify, and AirPlay, and is regularly updated with new features and firmware improvements. Dimensions are approximately 35cm wide, 6cm high, and 34.5cm deep, with a weight of 8kg for the main unit and 2kg for the power supply.
