About the BD30
The Lexicon BD-30 is a universal Blu-ray player that supports Blu-ray Disc, BD-Live, BonusView, DVD, DVD-Audio, SACD, CD, HDCD, and AVCHD formats. It features Anchor Bay's award-winning Video Reference Series (VRS) video processing technology for superior picture quality with full 1080p output and True 24p video. The player offers high fidelity audio with support for Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, 7.1-channel analog output, dedicated stereo output, and digital optical and coaxial outputs. It can bitstream or convert Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, DTS-HD High Resolution Audio, and DTS-HD Master Audio. The BD-30 is THX certified and includes a robust build with a heavy chassis that reduces mechanical noise. It also features an RS-232 port for external control and a USB port for BD-Live functionality requiring a 1GB or larger USB drive. Despite its premium price of it shares core hardware with the Oppo BDP-83 but includes Lexicon-specific firmware and enhanced build quality. Dimensions are 438mm x 329mm x 89mm, weighing 7.4 kg (16.3 lbs), with a power consumption of 35W during operation and 0.5W in standby mode.
