About the Kappa 6
The Infinity Kappa 6 is a 3-way loudspeaker system introduced in 1987, designed for high-fidelity audio performance. It features a 10-inch graphite/polypropylene woofer, a 3-inch polydome midrange driver with an edgewound voice coil, and an EMIT tweeter for extended frequency response. The speaker has a nominal impedance of 4 to 6 ohms and a power rating of 30 to 150 watts RMS. It offers a frequency response range of 37Hz to 45kHz with an efficiency of 88 dB at 1 watt/1 meter. The cabinet dimensions are approximately 25 inches high, 15 inches wide, and 10.5 inches deep. The design includes a crossover network with frequencies at 800Hz and 4500Hz. This model is no longer manufactured and is considered a classic high-end speaker with a distinctive style and advanced driver technology for its time.
