About the Micro iTube 2

The micro iTube2 is designed to bring the sound and feel of tubes to a wide range of audio systems, acting as a tubed output stage, tube preamp, tube buffer, and impedance-matching device in one compact chassis. It uses a NOS GE 5670 vacuum tube and offers three selectable tube sound signatures (Single-Ended Triode, Push-Pull Tube, and Classic Tube) via its Tube+ circuit, allowing the user to tailor the harmonic character to their system and preferences. The unit incorporates iFi's XBass+ and 3D Holographic+ for Loudspeakers analog matrix processing, which can provide adjustable low-frequency reinforcement and a widened soundstage when desired. With RCA inputs and outputs and selectable 0 dB or 9 dB gain, it can be inserted at various points in the signal chain and used either as a high-quality standalone preamplifier with analog volume control or purely as a unity-gain tube buffer/line stage.
