About the Saga+
The Schiit Audio Saga+ is a single-ended stereo line preamplifier combining a fully passive signal path with a selectable hybrid 6SN7 tube-buffer stage. It uses a relay-switched, discrete thin-film resistor attenuator with 64 one-decibel volume steps, five line-level RCA inputs, two pairs of RCA outputs, front-panel and remote control, and an included tube. In passive mode it functions as a transparent attenuator; in active mode, the tube/BJT buffer provides low output impedance and high voltage swing. It has no phono input, balanced connections, DAC, headphone output, or built-in wireless/network streaming. Schiit has replaced it with the Saga 2, and the Saga+ is listed as discontinued/no longer manufactured.
