About the Music Groove 2

The Hovland Music Groove 2 is a dedicated tonearm-to-phono preamplifier cable designed for the extremely low-level, nonlinear signals produced by phono cartridges. Each channel uses four bundles of fine-strand silver-plated copper conductors and an overall outer braided shield; the channels are physically tied together with a Teflon-insulated, silver-plated ground wire. Its lightweight, highly flexible construction is particularly well suited to sprung turntables, while available RCA, straight-DIN, and right-angle-DIN terminations accommodate a range of tonearm connections. The cable has been described as offering a relaxed, warm, physically engaging presentation with strong detail, depth, dynamics, and three-dimensionality.
