The Grado Labs RS1x is a redesigned reference-series headphone hand-built in Brooklyn, NY, introducing fourth-generation 50mm X drivers tuned for tri-wood enclosures combining maple, hemp, and cocobolo. These open-air, dynamic transducers feature de-stressed diaphragms, powerful magnetic circuits, reduced voice coil mass, and matched pairs within 0.05 dB for superior efficiency, low distortion, and preserved harmonic integrity. Equipped with an 8-conductor cable, white-stitched leather headband, and replaceable L-cushions (G-cushions optional for comfort), the RS1x delivers Grado's signature open, detailed, agile sound with improved clarity, soundstage, and refinement over predecessors.
