About the Green4

The Grado Green4 is part of Grado's Prestige Series, delivering core performance and musical character built on decades of cartridge design. It provides a stable and engaging presentation across a wide range of systems. Utilizing Grado's moving iron design based on Joseph Grado's patented flux-bridger principle, the Green4 offers a consistent and reliable signal with low moving mass and long-term performance. The die-injection molded housing supports dependable construction and ease of use. The cartridge features a bonded elliptical diamond mounted to an aluminum cantilever, which provides effective groove contact and reliable tracking while contributing to a stable and balanced presentation. The stylus assembly is user-replaceable, allowing for easy maintenance and long-term ownership. All Prestige Series styli are interchangeable, providing flexibility across models. The internal signal path is built using ultra-high purity 5N OCC copper, and each cartridge undergoes cryogenic treatment and internal damping to reduce unwanted resonance and preserve signal integrity. The Green4 is offered in both standard mount and P-mount configurations for broad compatibility.
