The Focal SW 800 V is a high-performance active subwoofer featuring an 11-inch (27 cm) Polyglass cone woofer powered by a 350-watt RMS BASH® amplifier with a peak power of 500 watts. It offers a frequency response of 32 Hz to 160 Hz (±3 dB) and a low frequency point of 27 Hz (-6 dB). The enclosure is ported with a Powerflow™ multiport system for enhanced bass output. The subwoofer includes front-mounted controls with three buttons: Night mode (bass boost for late-night listening that reduces volume), Subsonic filter (removes very low frequencies to reduce acoustic problems), and Boost mode (+3 dB at 40 Hz) to increase bass presence. The cabinet is constructed from solid MDF with non-parallel inner walls and features an acrylic body with finishes available in Ebony (satin) and Natural (matte). It delivers a substantial bass output of 115 dB and weighs approximately 41.4 lbs (18.8 kg). The SW 800 V is designed to integrate seamlessly with Focal's Chorus 800 V speaker system, providing rich, dynamic, and precise low-frequency performance suitable for both music and home theater applications.
