About the SW 800 V

The Focal Chorus SW 800 V is an active bass-reflex subwoofer designed for the Chorus 800 V loudspeaker range. It uses an 11-inch (270 mm) Polyglass woofer and a BASH® amplifier rated at 350 watts RMS, with 500 watts maximum output. Its specified frequency response is 32 Hz–160 Hz (±3 dB), with extension to 27 Hz at −6 dB. The cabinet incorporates Focal’s PowerFlow system and provides adjustable crossover and phase controls, along with Night, Subsonic, and Boost functions for tailoring bass response and system integration. The SW 800 V was offered in finishes including Ebony and Natural, depending on market and version. It is suitable for music and home-theater systems requiring extended, high-output low-frequency reproduction.
