The Focal Chorus 806 V is a refined 2-way bass-reflex bookshelf speaker designed for rooms under 20 m², with the ability to perform well in larger spaces when paired with the SW 800 V subwoofer. It features a 6.5" (165mm) Polyglass mid-bass driver and a 1" (25mm) aluminum/magnesium inverted dome TNV tweeter, delivering a frequency response of 55Hz to 28kHz (+/-3dB) and a low frequency point of 47Hz (-6dB). The speaker has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, minimum impedance of 3.6 ohms at 226Hz, sensitivity of 90dB (2.83V/1m), and can handle up to 120W max power with 80W RMS. The crossover frequency is set at 3kHz. The cabinet is made of solid MDF with an acrylic core and black mirror effect finish, featuring non-parallel inner walls and aerodynamic porting for low distortion. The speaker is noted for its neutral and balanced sound, rich upper midrange, and fast, articulated bass. It includes new insulated Focal terminals and is finished in high-end design with options like Moka and Ebony. Dimensions are 390x222x293mm (HxWxD) and it weighs 8.2kg (18lbs).
